Firestormin' and a Tournament on the 4th
So lately the guys at the FLGS have been playing what we like to call "SPACESHIPS" but what really is the fun and exciting (and recently updated) game by Spartan Games called Firestorm Armada.
If you have not heard Spartan Games, I do suggest checking them out, they have a variety of games and are currently expanding even further with their ground based game set in the Firestorm Armada universe called Planetfall where epic battles between ground troops, tanks and mechs will determine who controls the world that your space fleets have also been fighting over.

My, brief, overview of the new Imperial Guard codex...
Well ladies and gents, I know it has been a long time since I have written anything about the Imperial Guard, the state of Warhammer 40k, or miniatures in general. Well I wanted to make sure you all knew I had not forgotten about you, and that, from time to time I will be indeed posting about them. I also will be, in general posting more often about many a things. Tomorrow you all should see a post about another tabletop game that my FLGS players and myself have gotten HUGELY into and are about to run our first tournament for...
but lets get back into what you came here for, the codex....

Adepticon is almost upon us!
With one of the biggest (and I consider best) tabletop gaming conventions nearly upon us in Adepticon things have been moving quickly around the local gaming store. People playing games, especially with the rate of new codexes for Warhammer 40k, and others desperately trying to assemble and paint the rest of their armies. I am seeing this include both Warmachine/Hordes as well as 40k. At our FLGS we have a wide section from both groups.
